Vacancy: Investment Manager

Are you an investment specialist that values nature more than money?

Across the world nature is at risk. Mostly because it’s economically more interesting to cut down a tree for timber, drain peatland for agriculture, or burn a forest to convert to pasture lands. That needs to change. Now. We need to design and implement scalable solutions that provide a financial alternative that outperforms current practice.

Treevive does just that. We bridge the gap between forests and finance by supporting forest owners, such as local communities, businesses, and nature conservation organizations, in developing their forest carbon projects. We connect these projects to investors and international carbon markets to secure the financial viability of restoring and conserving their forests. Our mission is to develop 30 investment-ready projects by 2030 that tackle biodiversity loss, climate change, and rural poverty. We now have over 10 projects under development.

To support our growing project portfolio in development and implementation, we are looking for an investment specialist to join our team. If you have a strong track record of investment fundamentals in a long lifecycle asset context (doesn’t need to be within forestry) and an interest in developing expertise in forestry and natural capital, do read on!
