This year’s theme is “Invest in Our Planet,” and it is a call to action to invest in the natural resources and ecosystems that are essential to our planet’s survival and the welfare of future generations.

Not only for our climate but also for its rich biodiversity and the livelihood it provides to almost a billion people. Let us work together to protect these landscapes. Let’s invest in them and support projects that bring lasting positive social and environmental impact. Let’s use the power of collective action to invest in our common future.
We are excited to announce that we now have 7 forest carbon projects under development that will generate carbon credits soon. Companies that seek carbon credits to offset any residual emissions which they cannot yet mitigate, can invest in these projects through ‘forward contracts’. This enables them to have a direct influence on the design of the project and secure their future supply of high-quality credits at current market prices. By offering this certainty from the demand side, companies greatly contribute to the feasibility of forest carbon projects.
